Early on the morning of 24 March 2023, we lost our dear friend and editor Eden, who had been fighting severe illness for quite some time – and fighting our oppressive asylum system for much longer. As a writer and interviewer and part of the visAvis editorial group, Eden played a significant role in making our latest issue happen. We carry her in our thoughts and hearts as the struggle continues.
